In the quiet village of ponies, a the trio of friends were enjoying some milk shakes and cookies in a local hub. As they enjoyed their shakes the two biggest bullies in town came in.
"Don't look now but the troublesome duo have entered," the young yellow earth pony said as she shifted her eyes to the door then back to her friends.
"Let's just ignore them. They won't do nothing if we ignore them," the white unicorn replied then looked over at her orange Pegasus.
"Why are you looking at me? I'm over what they've said about me last time we ran into them. Besides we're better than them in several ways," the orange responded as she finished her milkshake.
"Well it seems the blank flanks are just doing their usual thing, nothing productive at all. Right Silver Spoon?" the purple pink unicorn told her grey unicorn friend, making a devious grin.
"Oh yes they are. I guess that's why they're still blank flanks and nowhere NEAR getting their cutie marks. They might find their cutie marks one day. In failing at getting cutie marks," Silver Spoon laughed with her friend.

Doing their best to ignore them the orange Pegasus smacked her hoof on the table and faced the two bullies, rage in her eyes she took a deep breathed and seemed to breath fire at two ponies to give them a piece of her mind.
"Well it's better than have cutie marks that mean nothing at all! What's your tiara supposed to mean? That you're a rich brat?! Or that you can wear cheep crowns that your daddy bought you?! And you? A silver spoon? Is that your cutie mark or just you name? It's as worthless as Diamond Tiara's cutie mark!
"What do you do? Look at spoons and shine them all day? That's really important! Why don't you two either get real cutie marks or continue to wear those fake ones you had your rich daddies paint on your flanks continually to keep them there!"

The two rich ponies simply stared at the Pegasus, speechless. Their mouths stayed open as other ponies turned and looked, starting to mumble under their breath. The cutie mark crusaders had dealt with Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon in the past but it seemed this comment on them being blank flanks rallied her gears to a breaking point. While the others started to talk a red pony got up and walked up to the orange pony.
"I understand your rage, I've been bullied too but that was uncalled for. I suggest you either leave with your friends or apologize to them. Please understand they have feelings too," the red pony explained.
"Like I need help from a grown pony with a green cape," Diamond Tiara insult didn't do much to annoy the red earth pony as he simply shrugged it off.
"What's it going to be Scootaloo?"
"How do you know my name? Who are you? And why don't you just mind your own business."
The red pony didn't answer, he stared at her and thought to himself. "Just listen to me. I want to help you and in order to do that you and your friends should leave, now please."
"You should listen to that dumb pony."
"Grrrr." The red pony eye twitched but he brushed it off and moved close to Scootaloo. "I don't want to hurt you or see your hurt. And lastly see you get in trouble with the foster home guardians. Just leave."
Scootaloo's face turned to quick fear as she realized that the red pony not only knew her name but also that she lived in a foster home. How did he know this? Was he stalking her? She had to get away but first, she had to take him out. Not knowing how to do so she quickly thought of her hero, Rainbow Dash. Knowing Rainbow Dash, she'd just give the pony a rough kick to the face. So taking a page from Dash's book she stood up on her chair and delivered a rough kick to the face.
While the kick didn't look that powerful, it was strong enough to send the red pony to the ground. While on the ground he rubbed his cheek and other ponies gasped and rushed out, getting the care taker of Scootaloo.
"What did you do Scootaloo?" Applebloom shouted as she check to make sure the red pony wan't hurt too bad.
"You're in for some serious trouble when your guardian comes. She's not going to let you out for a while after that little stunt. I just hope he isn't hurt."
As the guardians came to take Scootaloo home the red pony got up. "No, don't take her yet. I want...to talk to her. Please, give me a moment to chat with her."
"I'm sorry but we can't do that sir. We must take he back now. I recommend an ice pack for that bruise to help prevent it from swelling." Nurse Redheart advised as she and a second nurse started to walk out. The red pony however put his hoof on her shoulder and stopped her, whispering something into her ear. "If that's the case, I'll permit it. But please keep it short."
The pony knelled down to Scootaloo's height, looked directly in her eyes and hugged her. Scootaloo's eyes nearly burst-ted out of her eye socket. She was shocked the unknown red pony was hugging her, yet. Something about the hug felt right, like she was meant to have it. All of her fears slowly vanished, she didn't care what she did. That there were other ponies watching her. She just started to let tears fall down her face as she returned the hug.
It seemed like an eternity with the long lasting hug. She couldn't hear a thing from the other ponies but she then heard a soft whisper. It came from the unknown pony. Who was he? Why was she starting to trust him. What was special about this pony that made her cry and that hug, had something more behind it.
"Scootaloo, I am your father. You're biological father. I've been watching over you, hoping you'd grow smart and wise. I didn't want you to fight, I'm sorry if I scared. I'll visit you real soon. Good bye Scootaloo."
"Good...bye?" Scootaloo heard those words over and over, 'good bye Scootaloo'. All night they echoed. It wasn't until tomorrow morning did she forget about what she heard when her friends came to visit her.
"Are you okay Scootaloo? We heard that pony say he was your father. Is it true? It seems a little fishy to me." Applebloom asked her friend. Since the story of her hitting the pony and the pony claimed to be her father. Soon half the town heard and was starting to talk about it.
"I don't know. I never knew my parents. But Nurse Redheart is looking into it. They took some of my spit to some kind of test to see if that pony is my father. If he is...I want to talk to him about leaving me her and what happened to my mother."
Scootaloo looked out the window and saw a blue pony flash by, then quickly appeared inside her room. The blue pony flapped her wings as she stared at her biggest fan, knowing not what to say since this wasn't something she did often.
"Hey Scoots. I heard about yesterday. Haha. Kind of crazy huh?" Rainbow Dash just rubbed the back of her head she tried to keep the conversation safe. "Look if that stallion is your father then he owes you some quality time and answers to any of your questions. Not to mention it'll be nice to get some father time."
     "I hit him."
"Huh?" the quizzical Pegasus just looked at her then realized what she meant. "Oh yeah. You kind of did."
"I bet he doesn't want to be near me after that."
"Oh I don't know about that, I don't feel any different about you. I would if you hit Diamond Tiara or Silver Spoon." the red pony told Scootaloo as he came up to her room with Nurse Redheart. "They're still doing the test but I'm being honest, I am your biological father. So, you must have a lot of questions. I promise to answer them all. First off, my name is Master Glitch Controller. It's an odd name I know. All ponies just call me Glitch."
Glitch looked over and saw Rainbow Dash. Looking shocked and looked back at Scootaloo. Rainbow saw the look and continued to look at Scootaloo too.
"If you're my father then tell me, who's my mother?" Scootaloo asked, but as soon as she asked she quickly saw the look she didn't want to see. "You don't know do you?"
"I do know. It's just I promised, I promised her not to tell you who she is until she's ready. She was so upset about it. We didn't know what to do after we found out. I can tell you anything else but not that. Not yet."
Looking back out the window, Scootaloo thought to herself. Thinking this pony was just lying to her. Though that hug, it felt warm and secured like he would protect her from anything.
"Why did you leave me here?"
Glitch looked down and took a quick breath of air to explain. "Your mother and I didn't intend to make a child. We were young, as you can see we aren't that old right now. When we realize what we did and the possibility of a child, we panic'd. It wasn't long after we found out about you and I quickly bolted.
"I was a coward. I wasn't ready to be a father and didn't know how to raise a child. A about a year later I returned to your mother to speak with her. She told me you were given to the orphanage and hadn't be adopted. I asked her if we could go back and take you as our custody. But she told me she wasn't ready to be a mother, nor had the heart to explain this to you. I agreed with her. I didn't have the heart to be there for you when you were born, so what does that say about me?"
"A lot of negative things. You abandoned your daughter, came back to try and convince her mother to take her back, and now explain this to her. I don't think you should take custody of Scootaloo. Not until you learn to be a real father figure." Rainbow told Glitch as she quickly scaled him.
"He came back didn't he? At least he cares about me! Sure he wasn't there for me but he came back. It's a start. If you are my farther, then I suggest you start doing fatherly stuff for me. Because you owe me."
"Scootaloo! That is not how a young filly acts." Nurse Redheart was also quick to scald, Scootaloo however was on the receiving end.
"I deserved it and more. Look I'll start acting like a father to you. Just not today. I have to go and find your mother. I don't know where she's living now but if I find her then I'll tell her all I told you. If I don't, I'll just come back here and take you out to lunch or something. If it's okay with Nurse Redheart."
"I'll think about it. For now please come with me." Nurse Redheart lead Glitch out of the orphanage.
"I'll be seeing you too Scoot's. Take care." Rainbow Dash followed and leaved the trio alone.
As they sat together they talked, it was odd learning that Scoot's father was an earth pony. Was her mother a Pegasus? Or was there some other Pegasus in her family. Would she get to see them some day? So many questions with so few answers at the moment. The biggest on the little Pegasus's mind right was the identity of her mother.
This is a little fan fiction I was inspired by when I made my most recent poll. If you want to know about it just check out the comments in the poll. So a little thank you to :iconvincentthecrow: for giving me the inspiration I needed and for Netflex for helping me get the motivation to right. Since I was watching Pokemon the first season while I wrote this part. Yes part. This will be continued. It's nothing to being long and if it is great. If you're asking why I made my pony OC the father? It's in the poll comments and is fiction. So I'm not taking full claim on being Scoot's parents and if her real parents are ever shown...then blast. That's all I have to say.

Also do please leave some creative comments and constructive criticism. It'll help me greatly with this and make it the best it can possibly be.

All ponies used (c) to Hasbro but mostly :iconfyre-flye:

Wow, who would've thought that my roleplaying would inspire fanfiction.
I feel so honored.
